Every year, in the middle of the Nevada desert, a town appears out of nowhere and disappears almost without a trace. Black Rock City, known as the largest temporary city in the world, is home to around 80 people who gather for the famous Burning Man event.. This social experiment goes far beyond a simple festival, bringing together art, community and a lifestyle that defies urban logic.
Black Rock City it is not a simple temporary structure. Imagine building a metropolis in the middle of nowhere, without big sponsors, where everything is done by the participants themselves. For nine days, this vibrant community transforms the desert into an explosion of creativity and collaboration.

The structure of the city
Designed in a circular shape that resembles a clock, Black Rock City is organized so that its streets and spaces are functional and easy to navigate. At the center of it all is “the Man,” an imposing wooden sculpture that will be burned at the height of the celebration.
