170 jobs in Logistics! Demand for professionals is a reflection of the expansion of e-commerce in Brazil and highlights the need for training

Positive outlook for Logistics professionals! According to the study by the National Industry Observatory, the projection for the next three years is that around 170 new jobs will be created in the sector. It's time to empower yourself!

According to the survey, the Logistics sector is heated due to the expansion of e-commerce. The CouponValido survey pointed out that Brazil is the first in the ranking of countries where electronic commerce grows the most. Around here, the expectation is that the year 2022 ends with an increase of 22,2%.

Despite the impacts of the pandemic, transport has continued to recover over the past two years and was one of the highlights in the performance of GDP (Gross Domestic Product) in 2021. Considering the annual result, the flagship of Brazilian logistics grew 11,4% in 2021 – against 4,6% of overall GDP – compared to 2020.

Another relevant data came from the National Jobs Bank (BNE): according to the platform, last year there was a 37% increase in open positions for transport professionals.

Increased demand requires training of professionals in the area

Along with the positive projections for the sector comes the need for training. “In order to get a vacancy, the professional needs to specialize and improve in the area”, explained Cebrac's administrative manager, Thiago Busignani.

This improvement goes beyond technical elements of the area. According to the World Economic Forum, some of the most important skills in professionals by 2025 will be logical reasoning, emotional intelligence, creativity and problem-solving skills. The study also cites skills such as technology control, user experience, customer focus and innovation.
