Suzuki S-Cross 2024: the renewed Japanese mini SUV arrives on the market with a modern design, efficient hybrid powertrain and a competitive price, promising to shake up the compact SUV market.

The automotive universe is about to be shaken with the arrival of the Suzuki S-Cross 2024, a Japanese mini SUV that promises leadership in the segment, combining an affordable price with legendary reliability of Japanese automakers. The model, which already ran in Brazil until 2020, arrives on the global market with a completely renewed generation, ready to compete fiercely in a demanding market.

With compact dimensions, the S-Cross 2024 is 4,30 meters long and has a wheelbase of 2,60 meters, ensuring comfort and ample luggage space of 460 liters. Its design has been significantly improved, now with features reminiscent of the popular Corolla Cross, especially at the front, adorned with a hexagonal grille and Full LED headlights.

What engine is in the Suzuki S-Cross 2024?

Garage 2.0

The 2024 Suzuki S-Cross is equipped with a 1.4 Turbo four-cylinder engine, which is now enhanced with mild hybrid technology. This addition means that the vehicle has a 48 V battery system, which helps with energy efficiency and reduces fuel consumption. The turbocharged engine delivers power of up to 130 horsepower and a torque of 23,9 kgfm, offering an ideal combination of performance and economy.

The big news, the mild hybrid system provides improved throttle response and helps reduce pollutant emissions, making the 2024 S-Cross a more environmentally friendly choice. The vehicle offers automatic or manual transmission options, both with six speeds, and has front or all-wheel drive, adapting to driving preferences and performance needs in different road conditions.

Consumption

The 2024 Suzuki S-Cross, with its 1.4 Turbo engine and mild hybrid system, offers significantly improved fuel efficiency compared to the previous model. Doing 13 km/l in the city and 15 km per liter on the highway.

This allows for more efficient driving, reducing gasoline consumption and taking advantage of the energy collected during braking and deceleration to charge the 48 V battery. Thus, the S-Cross 2024 promises to be an attractive option for those looking for fuel economy without compromising. the performance.

Interior and security

Inside, the vehicle maintains the already known quality, with refined finishes and a new multimedia system with a 9-inch screen, advanced connectivity and 360º cameras. In terms of safety, although basic, the offer is complete, with ABS disc brakes, seven airbags and traction and stability controls.

I have a 2017 Vitara, brand new. So far I haven't had any problems, it's an excellent car, and it's also very economical. Suzuki should return to the Brazilian market...

Anyone who tries a Suzuki doesn't change it, or rather, just exchange it for another one. It is past time for HPE Automotores to launch vehicles in Brazil. More respect for the brand’s loyal consumers.

The photo is not of the S-Cross but of the Vitara. The report talks about price, but does not mention the value. After all, are you saying that the car will be sold in Brazil or are you asking? Is the editor of this site an intern?
