According to the report of the mining leader in gold extraction “The socioeconomic contribution of gold mining”, recently released by the Word Gold Council (WGC, market development organization for the gold industry), local employees make up 95% of the workforce of members of the WGC in the country. The document also shows that gold-producing companies generated around 200 thousand direct jobs and 1,2 million indirect jobs during 2020 worldwide.

In the case of Jaguar, in 2020 and 2021, 568 job vacancies were opened, taking advantage of local or regional labor for 90% of vacancies.
