Centec is offering more than 200 places in free online and distance learning courses for residents of Quixeramobim and Juazeiro do Norte, in Ceará.
Registration starts today, Friday (24). As of this Friday (24th) registration will be open for an online entrance exam 2022.1 by the Colleges of Technology (Fatec) of the Centec Institute. A total of 270 vacancies will be made available divided into 5 free higher education courses in Juazeiro do Norte and Quixeramobim, municipalities in the state of Ceará. Registration will take place on the institution's website until the 15th of November.

At Fatec Cariri, located in Juazeiro do Norte, the free distance learning courses offered are Food Technology, Environmental Sanitation, Irrigation and Drainage and Industrial Maintenance. It is worth noting that all free courses are full-time.
At Fatec Sertão Central, located in Quixeramobim, free courses in Food Technology or Agribusiness Management are being offered, but with distance learning classes only in the evenings.

Due to the public emergency generated by Covid-19, Centec's free course classes will take place through remote teaching (online). However, higher education courses are primarily face-to-face e Classes can be changed at any time to hybrid or face-to-face form.

Half of the vacancies are aimed at candidates from Ceará who attended high school in full in public schools in the municipality or state, for self-declared black, indigenous and brown people and 3% for PwD (Persons with Disabilities).
It is worth noting that interested candidates must be available to attend face-to-face classes in Juazeiro do Norte and Quixeramobim, regardless of which opportunity was chosen. The result of the selection process will be released on December 6th by Centec and classes are planned to start in January of next year.
