Instituto Chico Mendes launched a public notice for the hiring of 134 firefighters
O Chico Mendes Institute (ICMBio), opened yesterday, Wednesday (28), a selection process for hiring 134 brigade members to work in the firefighting sector. forest fires. The brigade members will deal with federal conservation parks in the Federal District, namely: Brasília National Park, Brasília National Forest and Planalto Central Environmental Protection Area.
The Notice provides for the hiring of 17 squadron leaders and 117 brigade members. Although approved, even if they remain working in the conservation units in Brasília, the brigade members will be part of the Ready Job Brigade, being able to be called to act in any point of the national territory in case of emergencies.
Candidates will have to go through a pre-selection, which has physical fitness tests and ability to use specific equipment. Candidates who are approved in this first stage will still have to undergo a curriculum analysis before joining the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio) team.

Entries are completely free and are done exclusively online. Confirmation of participation will be given by completing the registration form along with sending the document by email. Contracts will be for 24 months, renewable for another 12. Brigade members will receive the minimum wage + allowance; while squadron chiefs will receive 1,5 times the minimum wage + benefits.
