Entries open for young navigation talents course, by Rio de Janeiro City Hall
Young professionals who want to enter the navigation area, your time has come! A prefecture of Rio de Janeiro opened enrollment for the course for young talents in navigation, in the maritime area, for young people between 18 and 23 years old. For the course, it is necessary to be attending or have already completed high school. The Municipal Department of Development, Employment and Innovation will open enrollment for 25 vacancies in the Young Talents of Navigation course, offered by the Mar e Portos Institute (Imapor) . This is training in the maritime area, with a focus on employability. In addition to acquiring knowledge, young people will be prepared to work as a team, ethically and responsibly.

Interested parties may enroll between January 13th and 15th, from 10:15 am to 455:9 pm, at the Caravana do Emprego e Cidadania room, at SMDEI, located at Rua Afonso Cavalcanti, nº XNUMX, annex building, XNUMXth floor, Wing A – New city. They must present a declaration of schooling, a copy of their RG, CPF and proof of residence.
Candidates will be submitted to a selection test on February 18, at 14:30 pm, when they will have to present an identification document. Only approved students will be able to enroll in the course.
Classes will start on March 9th and will be held from Monday to Thursday, from 18:21 pm to 28:3 pm, at the headquarters of the Union of Maritime Navigation Agencies and Related Activities of the State of Rio de Janeiro (SindaRio), which is located at Rua Conselheiro Saraiva, nº XNUMX, XNUMXrd floor – Downtown.
Maritime Agency and Ship Visitors, Foreign Trade, Logistical Costs in Foreign Trade, Customs Clearance, Offshore Maritime Support, Chartering (Charter), Cargo Failures and Damages, Environmental Management at Sea and Ports will be some of the contents taught during the 459 hours of duration of the course.
In addition, students will have lectures in areas of interest to Maritime Navigation, dynamic classes with evaluation (case study) at the end of each module and guided tours.
