Embrapa will open a public competition with mid-level and higher-level opportunities for technicians, analysts and researchers, with starting salaries of up to R$11.047,22
The Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) is preparing to launch a new public competition with up to 1.061 vacancies for technician, analyst and researcher positions, for secondary and higher education. The expectation is that the notice will be published next June, as per information disclosed by the president of Embrapa, Silvia Masshurá.
The definition of the organizing committee, which will be responsible for the secondary and higher level competition, is still pending and should be announced soon. Only after this definition and signing of the contract will the selection start date be confirmed.
Although the distribution of vacancies by position has not yet been announced, it is known that there will be opportunities for secondary and higher education levels, with starting salaries that can reach R$11.047,22. In addition, those approved will receive food aid in the amount of R$ 1.075,25.

The positions offered in the Embrapa competition will be:
- Technical: middle level and starting salary of R$4.790,41;
- Analyst: for those with higher education, with starting salary of R$9.415,06;
- Researcher: also with higher education, and starting salary of R$11.047,22.
The appointment of those approved in the secondary and higher education competition is scheduled for the years 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027.
Embrapa's last competition
The last Embrapa competition was held in 2009, offering 697 vacancies, in addition to forming a reserve register. At the time, several positions were considered, from secondary literacy to higher education. The organizing committee was Cetro Concursos.
For higher education, requirements included postgraduate studies or experience in the field, depending on the position. Salaries varied according to the role and training of the candidate.
With the publication of the notice approaching, it is important that interested parties start preparing as soon as possible to guarantee a good placement in this much-awaited competition.
