Rio Oil & Gas brought together major companies in the oil and gas sector with impressive innovations

One of the biggest events in the oil and gas sector in the world, Rio Oil & Gas, took place in Rio de Janeiro between the 26th and 29th of September and brought big names in the business to Brazil. The meeting featured large companies that brought technologies and innovations in the field of transition and energy efficiency and impressed many people.

The event had more than 400 exhibitors and 40 sponsors of world and national renown and provided a wide exchange of knowledge. In addition, many companies such as Uptec, Carrier, Amacel, Qnergy and MXM Sistemas presented practical and applied innovations that can expand the oil and gas sector. Want to know these technologies? Read on.

Check out a brief summary of how the 2022 edition of Rio Oil & Gas was with the video below

American group Carrier brought unprecedented detection technology to Rio Oil & Gas to revolutionize the oil and gas sector

The Ameticano Carrier group brought a revolutionary fire detection and fighting system, on display at Kidde's stand at Rio Oil & Gas. This system is unprecedented and connected to programmable software that gathers monitoring data. However, this monitoring can be recorded up to 10 km away from the site.

In this sense, the main objective was to facilitate surveillance at points of difficult access, in addition to providing a more complete risk analysis. In addition, the devices are prepared to act in the event of a fire detection, acting automatically to reduce potential damage.

Another great technology in the oil and gas industry is a new fire suppression system without the need for water. In this way, Uptec makes use of clean agents with evaporation potential, which can reduce damage to nature.

The company Uptec presented technology to treat corrosion in pipelines and Amacel brought an unprecedented coating in the oil and gas sector

Innovations and technologies didn't just stay with Carrier. After all, Uptec brought Ovolit for presentation during the event's audience from Rio Oil & Gas. This new invention is an energy saving solution that aims to treat difficult-to-manage corrosion in pipelines. However, the equipment can elevate the ducts to carry out repairs without interrupting routine activities. The hydraulic mechanism without energy consumption is unprecedented and surprised many people.

Amacel also marked its participation in the fair by presenting a new coating based on glass wool and dried silica for pipes in the oil and gas sector. The materials used bring greater lightness to the pipes and reduce the chances of common damage such as corrosion. In addition, they withstand high temperatures, being up to five times more powerful than conventionally used insulators.

Qnergy and MXM Sistemas presented Energy Efficiency solutions

Rio Oil & Gas brought the debate on energy efficiency and the need to energy transition. In this sense, the American company Qnergy presented a solution capable of working with all types of gas in citrus systems. It is equipment capable of producing up to 5.650W, consuming up to 13 liters daily.

MXM Sistemas also surprised everyone at the fair by presenting a fully online platform for integrated offshore and onshore management. This platform model was designed to adapt to the reality of each company. Therefore, you can customize the functions and use them in all corporate sectors to optimize productivity in the oil and gas sector.
