About to complete its 40 years of existence, the company Engeman continues to grow in the oil and natural gas sector and has just signed a contract with Petrobras for maintenance services at refineries in São Paulo, with strong job projections.

Petrobras continues to make progress in its quest to improve its production quality in Brazil and signed a contract with the company Engeman to provide services for manutenção from Pernambuco at the Presidente Bernardes (RPBC) and Paulínia (Replan) refineries, both in São Paulo. In this way, more than 700 jobs are expected to be generated in the state of São Paulo and a great benefit for the region's economy.

Contract between the companies for maintenance services at the São Paulo refineries will contribute to more than 700 jobs in the São Paulo region

Engeman is about to complete its 40 years of existence and has just signed a new high-level contract in the oil and natural gas sector in Brazil, a partnership for the provision of maintenance services at the RPBC and Replan refineries, owned by state-owned Petrobras , located in São Paulo. Thus, the company advances even further in search of its growth in the field of fuels in the national territory and opens doors for new future businesses.

The contract between Engeman and Petrobras will last for a total of 5 years with the provision of maintenance services and will receive a total of R$ 300 million in investments by the companies until its completion, contributing to jobs in the region.

In addition, Engeman will be responsible for maintenance services involving more than 20 pieces of equipment for work in the refineries, which will be acquired with the millionaire investment in the development of the partnership, essential for the productive growth of the refineries in São Paulo.

Engeman also commented that the projections for the contribution to the population of the state of São Paulo are also positive and, together with Petrobras, it intends to generate more than 700 jobs for residents of the region of the refineries, both indirectly and indirectly.

Thus, over the next 5 years, not only will fuel production at the refineries be expanded, but there will also be a strong contribution to the socioeconomic development of the state of São Paulo. The contract will also be important to help Engeman surpass the BRL 1 billion mark in backlog, and it is vital for the company's expansion strategy to São Paulo.

The company's director of operations, Jobe Medeiros, commented on the scope of the new maintenance service contract at Petrobras refineries and explained: “This contract has a new model, as it includes simultaneous operations at two large refineries in São Paulo: RPBC , in Cubatão; and REPLAN, the largest refinery in Brazil, in Paulínia. We will carry out predictive, preventive, corrective, lubrication and machining maintenance on thousands of pieces of equipment, during operational campaign periods, scheduled stoppages and emergencies.”

In this way, the company is now in the mobilization phase in RPBC and planning to start mobilization in REPLAN in early 2023, since planning is essential to maintain the quality of the contract for the next 5 years. In addition, the Engeman executive highlighted that this is the perfect time for the company to expand its operations in the São Paulo region.

Finally, Engeman stated that the company's main differential in this contract is the possibility for Petrobras to supply its Operation, Maintenance and Integrity demands in a single company, reducing interface costs and the noise caused.
