MTCN is in Balneário Camboriú, but operates in Brazil and abroad; It was one of those chosen for adopting sustainable practices in coastal and port infrastructure projects.

MTCN – Sustainable Solutions in Dredging, Ports and Coasts, from Balneário Camboriú is one of 12 startups chosen to participate in the global acceleration program Shell StartUp Engine promoted by the fuel sector giant to encourage business, develop capabilities and drive innovative solutions. These are companies from four of the five Brazilian regions that focus on sustainable agriculture and forests, upstream decarbonization, energy solutions (platforms and marketplaces), nature-based solutions and social technology.

MTCN was selected to form this select group for adopting sustainable practices in coastal and port infrastructure projects. “We were selected from dozens of registered companies and now we are among the startups that Shell identified as companies that make a social and environmental difference”, celebrates the founder and partner-director  from MTCN, Mauricio Torronteguy.

This all represents managerial and organizational growth that qualifies us to grow and conquer new customers and markets”, concludes Maurício.

We have been working with startups in Brazil for over 20 years as part of our commitment to transforming lives and boosting the country's socioeconomic development”, highlighted Cristiano da Costa Pinto, president of Shell Brasil in a recent post on his social networks.
