LEMMO offers the market a new low-cost electric bicycle model with innovative technologies. The model has a fully removable motor and batteries..

the dutch LEMMO is still a new player in the e-bike market, and to gain prominence, it has launched its new inexpensive electric bike called the One E+. The vehicle stands out for its modular construction and ability to transform into a conventional bicycle.

LEMMO electric bike can recharge electronic devices

Of course, in theory, almost all battery-powered bicycles can also be pedaled, however, most of them have not yet been designed with a focus on riding “off”. What changes about the electric bike is its innovative motor, as its patented technology disconnects the motor from the rear hub of the vehicle. with just the turn of a knob.

The feature delivers a much lighter ride and similar to that of a common bicycle. The novelty, which is called "Dual Mode Clutch Hub”, even won the award Red Dot Design Award and the operation is quite simple. A spinner on the bike switches between electric and manual mode.

With electric motor disconnected, the cyclist does not even need to worry about the battery, since this component would make the vehicle heavier than a common bicycle. With that in mind, the company developed the Smartpac, a compact box located just below the front part of the top tube.

The package holds battery, cheap electric bike motor controller and more electronic features in one place. If you prefer, the owner can remove the entire component from the vehicle and use it basically as a powerful power bank to recharge your cell phone, notebook and much more. Recharging takes about three and a half hours in the outlet, according to the manufacturer.

Cheap electric bike from LEMMO has two versions

Due to its modular configuration, individual bicycle components can also be repaired or replaced as needed, something that would be impossible on models where the battery and other components are housed in the bicycle frame, for example.

Speaking of the frame, the One E+ is made from recycled aluminum. Currently, the model is marketed with either a 1×10 drivetrain or a single-speed belt drive system. An official company application also allows you to locate and even block the cheap electric bike remotely.

In the end, all this costs 1.900 euros, which in direct conversion is equivalent to R$ 10.600 for a version with chain transmission and 2.190 euros (BRL 11.645) for a belt drive configuration.

The value in reais is high, however it is very attractive when seen in the European market. In the Netherlands, for example, the minimum wage is 1.756 euros. There is still no expectation for this cheap electric bike to reach other markets.

Electric bicycles are getting more and more innovative

In addition to this electric bicycle, the company Urtopia recently launched its Chord electric bicycle, which has all the connectivity of the previous model, called Carbon 1 and some new technologies. Its style and technological features make the model unique and different from many electric bicycles on the market.

According to the startup, the vehicle's inspiration is somewhat peculiar: a piano! That's because the curves and color palette refer to the simplicity and elegance of musical instruments. Its 352,6 Wh removable battery has enough power for journeys of up to 120 km. After 3 hours of recharging, the model is ready for another trip.
