The next PM TO contest (Military Police of the state of Tocantins) had its authorization for the provision of about 650 vacancies. Despite the public announcement not yet having a defined date, it still continues with a forecast for this year.
This information was even announced at the graduation of 958 military police officers who were in the last class of the Public Training Contest, last Thursday (19/01).
This Monday (23/01), the corporation confirmed the authorization for the selection, which is expected to offer more than 600 vacancies for the Officer Training Course and another 50 for the Officer Training Course.
According to the governor, this new public tender for the Military Police of Tocantins aims to supply even more the occupations of the police officers who will go to a reserve.

In addition to these immediate opportunities, the viability of creating a register for reservations will also be studied.
“We have opened a new competition and we are going to legally analyze whether we are able to call the reserve register for the current competition”, said the governor.
The governor added that the purpose of this new competition is to increase security for the population of the state.
“We are going to take more police with vehicles, weapons and safety equipment to protect the population of our State”, he added.

The last PM tender in Tocantins was held in 2020, under the Cebraspe banking organizations. This selection offered around 1.025 vacancies for soldiers, health technicians and musicians, distributed as follows:
– Musician: 50 places
– Nursing Technician: 20 vacancies
– Oral health technician: 5 vacancies
– Soldier: 950 vacancies
At the beginning, all these opportunities were going to be for soldier careers, but they were reorganized to contemplate a few more functions.
The public contest takes place through written tests, psychological assessment, physical capacity examination, medical and dental assessment, social investigation; and for the training course. Candidates answered about 60 multiple-choice questions, referring to the subjects of:
- Portuguese
– Updates and knowledge about the state of Tocantins;
– Computer skills;
– Notions of law
– Rules relating to PMTO;
- Logical reasoning.
Despite all the expectations of disclosures in the public notice with the number of vacancies that were mentioned, there is still no confirmation that it will be fully offered in the next public notice, considering that there are still about 500 approved candidates to be called from the previous selection.
Job requirements
– Complete high school for those interested in the Soldier career and complete higher education for those in the Officer career
– Minimum age of 18 and maximum of 32 years;
– Minimum height of 1,63 for men and 1,60 for women;
– Driving license from category “B”
