This year alone, Copergás has already interconnected nine fuel stations, expanding its network of stations to 86 units. The company's goal is to reach 100 CNG supply points in Pernambuco by the month of December, including its first unit in Sertão do São Francisco, in Petrolina, which makes up the local network project under development in the state.
The expansion of Copergás stations is due to the growth of vehicle conversions for the use of CNG in Pernambuco. CNG has been the best option for consumers who want to save
With the gradual increase in gasoline, diesel and ethanol prices in recent months, some consumers in Ribeirão Preto (SP), as well as in Pernambuco, have resorted to using vehicle natural gas to save money.
According to experts on the subject, the gas has the capacity to reduce by up to 50% the amount spent on other fuel. According to Elise Magazoni Moraes, who owns a workshop, putting aside fuels like gasoline is a trade-off that only brings benefits to consumers.
Who confirms this is the application driver, Jorge Batista, who forgot the fossil fuel and left for gas. Batista says that just like him, other consumers who work with passenger transport, started using the product and achieved greater profit.
André Campos, president of Copergás, highlighted the competitiveness of the fuel and stated that in any aspect of comparison, CNG brings more advantages. In addition to being more economical, gas is less polluting and much safer.
According to him, the objective of Copergás, in the direction of Governor Paulo Câmara, is to make vehicular natural gas something more accessible to Pernambuco residents from all regions of the state.
