In 2010, ELX and HLX were replaced by Attractive and Essence, in that order, and the 1.8 (8V) gave way to a new family of Fiat E.torQ engines: the 1.6 16V (115/117 hp) and 1.8 16V (130/132 hp). In addition, the biggest novelty of the Fiat Punto was the Dualogic automated gearbox, sold as an option for the 1.8 16V Essence version and in the following for the 1.6 16V Essence.
Another of the biggest changes in the history of Fiat's popular car took place in 2012, already as the 2013 line, with a slight restyling based on the European version, in addition to the debut of the 1.4 Fire EVO engine with 88/85 hp.
