The Paula Souza Center (CPS) is accepting registrations for free technical courses taught in the EAD modality. Free courses offer a certificate at the end of the journey.
O Paula Souza Center (CPS), the entity responsible for maintaining technical schools and technology colleges in the state of São Paulo, announced this Tuesday (24) the opening of 2.880 vacancies in seven free distance-learning technical courses in the second half of this year. Those interested in the free courses can enroll until June 06th at 15 pm. It is important to note that at the end of the opportunities, students will be entitled to a certificate.
List of free EAD technical courses available
In the blended modality, students must develop activities in the virtual learning environment and also attend face-to-face activities that take place in technical schools.
In the fully EAD modality, students study free courses with a certificate through the Etec's AVA platform and they only need to attend the final exams in person at the support centres.

CPS' free EAD technical courses have a workload of 800 hours and are divided into three modules. Access to the content is through the Distance Education Study Group (GEEAD) of the CPS.
For the second half of this year, the institution has several vacancies for the following free e-learning courses:
- Technician in Real Estate Transactions (480 vacancies);
- Trade Technician (360 vacancies);
- Administration Technician (720 vacancies);
- Tour Guide Technician (480 vacancies);
- Secretarial Technician (360 vacancies);
- Project Management Technician (360 vacancies).
How to apply for the selection process for free technical courses in the EAD modality?
If you are interested in enrolling in the free courses with certificate fill out this form with essential data such as Full Name, Candidate CPF, E-mail, Location, among others. In addition, candidates must pay a participation fee of R$ 39,00.
As exemption requests are closed and received until May 18 by CPS. The selection process consists of an objective test, which is scheduled for July 07th of this year, at 13:30 pm.
Candidates must answer questions that assess the skills and competencies of the National Common Curriculum Base (BNCC). The final result is expected to be announced on July 18th. Those approved in the free courses with a certificate will have from the 19th to the 21st of the same month to submit the enrollment documentation via the internet.
CPS opens up opportunities at Vestibulinho Etec 2022
Centro Paula Souza opened selection not only for free distance learning technical courses, but also for in-person training at technical schools. The Etec 2022/2 vestibulinho opened the registration season on May 19th. In this edition, the selection process hopes to fill 42.946 vacancies in more than 100 on-site technical course options throughout the state of São Paulo.
The ETEC Vestibulinho Test has 50 objective multiple-choice questions, each with 5 alternatives. The questions cover subjects such as Portuguese, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, History, Physics and Geography.
Participants must master subjects from the 5th to the 8th grade or from the 6th to the 9th grade of Elementary School. The test lasts 4 hours and will be applied twice a year, in June and December. Anyone can participate in the selection process, as long as they are studying from the 2nd year of high school and there is no age limit. Therefore, students of Youth and Adult Education (EJA) can participate in the vestibulinho.
