Template Automation Project
Foresea, known for being a reference company in safety and operational efficiency in the offshore drilling sector, is preparing to present an innovative project on September 23rd. This pioneering project involves the automation of drill pipe jigs, replacing the old method of manual monitoring of pipe obstructions that is still widely used in the Oil and Gas industry. During the ROG.e event, one of the largest meetings in the global Energy sector organized by the Brazilian Institute of Oil and Gas (IBP), Foresea will demonstrate this and other initiatives between September 23rd and 26th in Rio de Janeiro.

Ultrasound Technology and Specific Algorithm
The jig system developed by Foresea uses ultrasound technology, connected to a specific algorithm that is capable of detecting tubular obstructions much more quickly, accurately and safely. In addition, this technology allows the automation of this part of the process on the drillfloor. These innovative projects, which result in greater safety and operational efficiency, are continuously developed by Foresea's innovation and engineering team. Recently, the company also announced a project to full automation of the drilling process, about to be implemented on the Norbe IX probe.
