Federal Technological University is accepting applications for the free online specialization course in Municipal Public Management.

Thinking about it, the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR), in partnership with the Open University of Brazil (UAB), is accepting applications for the Specialization in Municipal Public Management, a course 100% free, in the EAD modality, and with the right to a certificate.

Opportunity for training in public management
According to UTFPR, the specialization aims to qualify professionals to work in the public sector or the third sector, developing skills in strategic areas of public Management.
The course is recognized by the UTFPR Teaching, Research and Postgraduate Council (COPPG), guaranteeing credibility and quality in the training of participants.
The specialization offers a comprehensive and practical approach, covering topics such as:
- Strategic and operational management;
- Public finance and budget;
- Human resources management;
- Diagnosis and implementation of solutions for public management challenges.
With this training, students will have the opportunity to improve essential skills to work in government agencies, NGOs and other third sector entities.
Who can apply?
UTFPR informs that the course is aimed at municipal, state and federal public servants, as well as third sector professionals or others interested in entering the public management area.
To apply for a position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a degree recognized by the MEC;
- Have an interest in working in the public sector or third sector organizations.
Specialization is an opportunity for those seeking professional qualification in an accessible and flexible way, since the course is offered entirely online, allowing students to study at their own pace, without compromising other professional activities.
Available locations and vacancies
Classes will be taught in the EAD format, with academic support and monitoring.
To serve different regions of Brazil, the specialization has in-person centers, where students can carry out face-to-face activities and tests.
In total, they are 150 vacancies distributed among six centers, according to the list below:
- Ibaiti (PR): 25 vacancies;
- Lapa (PR): 25 vacancies;
- Londrina (PR): 25 vacancies;
- Paranavai (PR): 25 vacancies;
- Itapetininga (SP): 25 vacancies;
- Itapevi (SP): 25 vacancies.
Interested parties should pay attention to the registration period and fee exemption deadlines.
Selection process and registration fee
Candidates will be selected based on CV and documentation analysis, ensuring that the most qualified professionals have the opportunity to participate in the specialization.
In addition, UTFPR charges a registration fee of R$110,00, which must be paid by the day February 20, 2025.
For candidates who meet the exemption criteria, the request can be submitted until February 6, 2025.
This exemption policy seeks to ensure greater accessibility to professional qualifications, allowing a greater number of professionals the opportunity to improve their skills at no additional cost.
