A E-Cells, a company headquartered in the United States that bets on more luxurious models to differentiate itself in the competitive market, created a super electric bike that promises to leave any other in the slipper.
A Super Monarch All-Wheel Drive 1500-Watt Dual Crown lives up to its name. the e-bike comes equipped with two batteries, two-wheel drive, possible because of two electric motors. According to the manufacturer, the available equipment set of the electric super bike allows users to drive it silently on trails, while allowing jumps over stones and other obstacles.
With two electric motors, the Super Monarch has a continuous power, produced by the set, of 1.500W. This is significantly beyond the US legal limit of 750W for vehicles to be allowed on the road. This shows that the electric bicycle E-Cells it was designed for use in off-road environments.
The motors are powered by a pair of Samsung-made batteries, with a combined capacity of 1.638Wh, nearly three times the typical capacity seen in other types of e-bikes on the market. The batteries have a combined capacity of 3500mAh and use the same charging connector built into the frame of the super electric bike. E-Cells did not provide any information about the vehicle's range. Check out the video:
In addition to powerful motors and batteries, the E-Cells electric super bike is equipped with several robust and top-of-the-line components
A Super Monarch it also has a rear shock absorber, 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes, anti-stretch chain, 10-speed Shimano shifter and a set of aluminum double-wall rims with 26-inch tires.
Weighing in at around 43 kilograms, the electric super bike isn't exactly light, and its price isn't very encouraging either. For now, the model can be purchased on the American market for the price of US$ 5.095, which is equivalent to more than R$ 26.600.
This value is considered expensive even for the international market, since electric bicycle models in the United States usually do not exceed US$ 2.000. However, it is justifiable taking into account the level of top-of-the-line components that equip the e-bike.
It is worth remembering that the Super Monarch is only sold abroad, if it is sold here in Brazil, it should cost much more than R$ 26.000, since this quoted value is a direct conversion, without considering the taxes practiced here in the country.
