Right off the bat, the surprise is the inclusion of front and rear suspension, something very unusual on slightly cheaper electric bikes. The wider set of tires, 10 cm thick, is also great for those who are looking for an adrenaline rush and more comfortable rides on asphalt and dirt.

The thicker tire category also provides a greater contact area with the surface, making it possible to ride on snow and beach sand, for example. Regarding the power of the model, the M20 also leaves nothing to be desired. The electric bicycle is equipped with a 750W motor on the rear wheel, allowing to develop up to 45 km/h.

The unit can reach a peak power of up to 1 W, according to the manufacturer. Its 7-speed transmission system is from Shimano and the brakes are mechanical with 160mm rotors, a feature that was lacking in relation to other competitors.

Another attraction is its range of 75 km, enough to run on daily journeys in the city and for weekend trips. This is only possible due to a 13 Ah battery, an extra unit that can be mounted on the top tube, doubling the previously mentioned autonomy.

M20 electric bike costs BRL 8.416

As the industry electric bikes is more saturated, the value of the e-bike can be a decisive buying factor. Currently, the M20 is being traded for US$ 1.600 in the United States, or R$ 8.416 at the current exchange rate.

In Brazilian currency, the price is a bit salty, but in the US the product is on average US$ 340 above the average minimum wage. Currently, Engwe, through the European warehouse, markets the X26, S6, T14, C20 Pro, Engine X, Engine Pro, EP-2 Pro and also the P26 models.

This latest e-bike model has a more classic style, with a passenger seat, allowing you to carry another passenger or some object, something that can be very useful on a quick trip to the supermarket, where we usually bring one or two bags full. .

Meet Engwe

The story of the electric bicycle brand comes after three young people found it difficult to pedal towards the top of a mountain. As night approached, the creators felt exhausted and cold and during the last few kilometers they could no longer pedal, forcing them to push their bikes into the wind. In this way, one of them had the idea of developing an e-bike.

The inventors won a competition for technological innovation and entrepreneurship by presenting the ingenious idea of developing an electric bicycle. 5 years later, Engwe emerged, which nowadays sells bicycles to the whole world.

The company's goal is to manufacture e-bikes with more advanced features and an attractive aesthetic, while remaining true to its original concept. For a cleaner future, the company seeks to improve the lives of 50 million people annually by generating more green spaces.
