After declaring an interest in buying Correios, e-commerce giant Amazon has 700 job openings to work in its new distribution center that starts operating in October in Rio Grande do Sul. It doesn't stop there, the expectation is that by the end of January of next year, another thousand jobs will be opened and that the new center will generate 3 thousand jobs in the region.

Amazon started last month the selection process that will serve the distribution center at 3SB Parque Logístico, in an area with 41 thousand square meters built in the complex in Nova Santa Rita, on the banks of BR-386.

The e-commerce company will have the largest area of ​​the 3SB. The vacancies are to work at the Swiss company Kuehne+Nagel, which will operate the center, which involves moving goods purchased through the Amazon platform.

The North American giant has not yet officially confirmed the DC, but the procedures for the implementation of the logistics structure in the Nova Santa Rita city hall are carried out on behalf of Amazon.

Operations manager Luandre Sul, who coordinates recruitment and selection for these opportunities at Amazon, Angelina Vinci, confirms the total number of vacancies. “We initially have 700 vacancies, which could reach XNUMX by the end of January. Signaling belongs to the client and the market”, guarantees Angelina, who, for reasons of confidentiality, cannot reveal the contractors.
