The first batch of the BYD Han electric sedan recently arrived in Brazil, Mexico, Uruguay, Colombia, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica. The start of the landing of the new electric car, which has a range of 605 km, in Latin America will take place a few weeks after BYD confirms the sale of electric and hybrid cars in the country. This initiative makes up the first step towards sales of electric passenger vehicles in Brazil, which the company recently confirmed would start in 2022, but without specifying a list of models or any launch date.

In terms of motorization, the new Han EV has two options, the first that comes with a 222 horsepower electric motor and a torque of 33,6 kgfm, making the vehicle go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7,9 .494 seconds and another version with a double engine that offers 69,3 horses and a torque of 0 kgfm, being able to go from 100 to 3,9 in an incredible XNUMX seconds.
Both models reach a top speed of 190 km/h. The 77 kWh battery guarantees a range of 550 km for the all-wheel drive model and 605 km for the variant with just one electric motor.
The electric sedan is also highlighted by the new DiPilot driving system with artificial intelligence for 5G technology and learning.

Arriving in Brazil next year, Song PLUS has a 71,7 kWh battery, with a density rate of 140 Wh/kg. Inside, the model brings a floating design concept, a gradient interior finish that is between brown and black, as well as suede and other materials.
The model's load volume is 574 liters with the seats or 1477 liters with the seats down. In China, prices range from $17.110 to $21.250, however in the Brazilian market, it will be priced more “salted”.
In the hybrid versions of the Song Plus, a 1.5 turbo gasoline engine with 110 horsepower and a torque of 135 Nm are offered. Together they offer a combined power of up to 198 horsepower and 325 Nm of torque. Its autonomy can reach 1,2 km.
