Billionaire reveals his big goal and experts warn: all his companies, from Tesla to SpaceX, are part of a bigger plan. While destabilizing governments and challenging institutions, Elon Musk remains focused on a single destination: Mars. But will he achieve it without facing consequences?
Elon Musk is the kind of person who doesn't go unnoticed. The guy is simply not afraid to shake up the status quo. For some, he is a revolutionary genius. For others, he is an eccentric billionaire who loves controversy. But, regardless of your opinion, one thing is certain: Musk has a very clear ultimate goal. And no, it is not world domination.
According to experts, everything he makes – from SpaceX rockets to Tesla electric cars – has a single purpose: to take humanity to Mars. But to get there, he doesn’t have no problem in playing hard and destabilizing whatever is necessary.
Elon Musk: a disruptor by nature
If there's one word that defines Musk, it's disruptive. Since the beginning of his career, he's not only entered huge markets, but also turned everything upside down.

It started with PayPal, which revolutionized digital payments. Then came Tesla, which changed the world’s view of electric cars. SpaceX challenged NASA and changed the space industry. And most recently, he simply took Twitter, kicked the door down, fired thousands of people, and turned the social network into a platform for his opinions—some brilliant, some… not so much.
Colonize Mars
But what is Elon Musk's real plan? If it depends on him, the answer is simple: Mars.
International policy expert Dr. Matt Mokhefi-Ashton says that everything Musk does revolves around this goal. Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink… they are all pieces of a puzzle that ultimately has Martian colonization as the ultimate prize.
- Tesla? Sustainable technology for a self-sufficient colony.
- SpaceX? Rockets that will take humans there.
- Neuralink? Brain-machine interfaces to help adapt to new environments.
Musk has made no secret of this. He has said several times that he wants to see humans living on Mars within his lifetime. The question is: how far is he willing to go to make that happen?
The US government's role in Musk's strategy
And here comes a curious point. Although Musk like to play the “lone wolf”, he knows very well how to play the game of political influence. The US government, even if indirectly, has helped to finance his space ambitions.
NASA has already signed several contracts with SpaceX, ensuring that Musk's company has become one of the leading companies in the sector. In other words, whether it wants to or not, the US government is helping to pave the way for him to reach Mars.
But will that support continue? And if Musk starts to become too much of a nuisance, will politicians simply let him get away with it?
Destabilization as a means to an end
Musk doesn't like rules, that's been made quite clear. And apparently, he also has no problem destabilizing systems to get what he wants.
The purchase of Twitter was a great example. He arrived, fired everyone, cut costs and turned the social network into a real battlefield. For some, it was a necessary coup to “clean up” the platform. For others, it was complete chaos, which weakened Twitter and opened space for misinformation.
And this is repeated on several fronts. Whether he’s provoking governments, questioning institutions or confronting regulators, Musk positions himself as the guy who’s there to break down structures. And, apparently, he relishes this role.
The controversial relationship with USAID
But not everything goes as planned. Recently, his actions have started to directly affect important projects – and this could cost him dearly.
USAID, the U.S. Agency for International Development, which funds aid programs in poor countries, could face severe cuts. That includes PEPFAR, a program that saves millions of lives in the fight against AIDS, especially in South Africa.
If this aid is cut off, the impact could be disastrous. Thousands of people could lose access to treatment, and experts are already warning that this could cause a new public health crisis.
