Electric SUV from the Italian brand Aehra comes equipped with the latest in automotive technology and will cost US$ 180

Ahra is Italy's new electric car manufacturer that has turned heads with its newest project. The company plans to launch a Electric SUV, which still has no official name, but comes with a huge screen on the dashboard. The screen occupies the entire dashboard and even part of the vehicle's windshield.

As can be seen from the images, the screen of the electric SUV is quite large and, according to the manufacturer, fulfills two distinct functions. When the vehicle is in motion, only the part of the display located at the top of the dashboard is visible. A track is shown that serves as a digital instrument panel.

Rearview “mirrors”, which are also digital, are included on the left and right sides of the screen. According to the company, when the vehicle is parked, the panel stretches and turns into a giant monitor that can be used for various purposes, such as attending meetings or watching movies.

The electric SUV Ahra it will be available from the factory with four or five seats, and these are the two variants. More technical details, such as the dimensions of the main screen, have not yet been discussed by the company, to the public.

What is known so far is that the electric vehicle it will have a top speed of 250 kilometers per hour and its batteries will be capable of providing a range of 800 km. Technical details about the battery capacity were also not made available by the electric SUV manufacturer.

The more prominent screen size isn't the only benefit. A secondary, more compact screen, positioned at the base of the dash, is used to operate the vehicle's main entertainment features. And a third screen, mounted on the steering wheel's top edge, displays other key information, including speed and range.

The electric SUV will have a combined output of 815 hp, which comes from its three electric motors – two of which are located at the rear axle and one located at the front.

The long wheelbase of three meters contributes to the large amount of available legroom. On longer trips, the SUV's electric base also allows the floor to be completely flat, giving passengers the option to recline the rear seat.

According to information from Aehra, in early 2023, assuming everything goes according to plan, more news about its electric SUV will be released. The launch is scheduled for the end of 2025, and the price could reach US$ 180, which is equivalent to around R$ 933 at the current exchange rate.

The company said that the model will initially be launched in the North American, European and Chinese markets. There is no information if Aehra intends to expand to other countries, including Brazil.
