Enauta's scheduled stoppage at FPSO Petrojarl I will guarantee preventive maintenance to the Atlanta Field platform next week

Enauta disclosed on Wednesday that the water cooling system of FPSO Petrojarl I had entered preventive maintenance and that the interruption of manutenção should last until early next week.

The vessel installed in the Atlanta Field, in the Santos Basin, is the oil company's main offshore oil and natural gas producer in the region.

“The maintenance interruption should last until the beginning of next week. This type of activity is part of the operational routine of floating production units, which normally operate with an efficiency (operation rate or uptime) close to 90%,” the company said in a note.

She also highlighted that, in the last three months, the offshore FPSO platform has been producing with an “excellent” uptime of 98%, thus guaranteeing good results in the Atlanta Field campaign.

“This maintenance is included in the FPSO operation plan, not affecting production estimates”, added the oil company.

Enauta also stated that it will maintain the offshore market of oil and natural gas Updated on possible changes to the Petrojarl I maintenance schedule.

The FPSO-type vessel has the capacity to produce 30.000 barrels of oil per day and a storage capacity of 180.000. It remains one of the main ones in the oil company's portfolio of operations.

Enauta started the drilling operation of three new wells in the Atlanta Field at the end of 2022, aiming to boost offshore fuel production

At the end of 2022, Enauta began the drilling campaign for three wells in atlanta field. The first is in the connection phase with the FPSO Petrojarl I, with production scheduled to start in April this year.

With the entry of this new well, the production potential of the Atlanta field will increase to more than 20 barrels of oil per day.

"In addition, we will have operational redundancy in the pumping system, leading to greater production stability", said the company.

Enauta is also working to deploy an even larger FPSO platform in the Atlanta Field over the next few years.

The Full Development System — Atlanta FPSO — is being converted into Dubai Drydocks World, with work including structural upgrades, overhauls and equipment upgrades.

According to oil company, the vessel is expected to have a production capacity of 50.000 BOPD, in addition to a storage capacity of 1.800.000 bb.

Thus, Enauta intends not only to invest its resources in the FPSO Petrojarl I, but also to expand offshore exploration in the Atlanta Field over the next few years.
