Energisa will inaugurate the first artificial intelligence center in the electricity market to develop solutions for the Brazilian electricity industry

Next Tuesday (29), Grupo Energisa will inaugurate Energisa Digital Labs, a center of excellence in artificial intelligence and advanced analytics.

Energisa intends to inaugurate next Tuesday (29) its artificial intelligence center focused on the development of the electricity market. The center will be linked to the state of Tocantins and will develop studies and new systems for electricity in the state and across Brazil.

Artificial intelligence center can unlock new technologies for the Brazilian electricity market

Energisa's center was created with the aim of building products and services aimed at the company's customers and also generating solutions that develop the electricity sector in Brazil.

The Artificial Intelligence laboratory is located in Energisa's office in Rio de Janeiro and will be connected to the company's activities in Tocantins with the aim of contributing to the development of the state's electricity sector and also boosting digital transformation.

To celebrate the creation of Energisa's space, which is aimed at innovation, creativity and also the exchange of experiences between collaborating customers and partners, the company intends to promote a digital event known as: “Energy transformation: what is the place of artificial intelligence?"

Words from Energisa's Strategy director highlight the importance of the system for the Brazilian electricity system

According to Grupo Energisa's Strategy, Innovation and New Business director, innovation is part of the company's DNA and the proposal is to promote a debate on the importance of Artificial Intelligence for the energy transition to benefit the development of the electricity industry in Brazil.

The professor and head of Computing Methodologies at the Computer Science Division of the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA), Paulo Castro, will be present at the event, as well as the partner and leader of McKinsey&Company's Advanced Analytics for Latin America, Pepe Cafferata. The broadcast of the event will begin at 10 am on the social networks of Época Negócios magazine: Facebook, LinkedIn and Youtube.
