In the midst of the pandemic, the Energy Platform (EnP), is qualifying as operator C to participate in the permanent auction of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), which currently has 54 companies registered. April may be the month with the lowest global demand for oil, with a drop of 29 million barrels/day

This is the company's strategy for the acquisition of onshore exploratory areas in the country. Energy Platform (EnP) is a holding company created by the former executive secretary of the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME), Márcio Félix.

The executive mentioned areas in the Espírito Santo and Parnaíba basins in the Agency's permanent offer of areas, in order to take advantage of the potential of micro-regions for the formation of energy ecosystems, with onshore oil and gas production projects, thermoelectric generation, biogas and biomethane and renewable energy.

They are included in the permanent offer of areas that can be contracted by the concession model of ANP, 173 exploration blocks and the Juruá field.

In all, there will be 740 blocks, 497 on land and 243 at sea. The offer also includes three areas with marginal accumulations on land.

The auction includes blocks that were not sold in the 16th round – opportunities in the ultra-deep waters of Campos, Camamu-Almada and Jacuípe, and the deep waters of Espírito Santo, Pernambuco-Paraíba.

EnP focused on energy transition

EnP has shown interest in energy transition and its project is to help create an investment fund for energy transition projects in Brazil. with other financial solutions.

The generation of energy in agribusiness can be one of the first paths. Recently, EnP signed an agreement with Datagro to develop solutions to integrate the oil and gas industry with that of biofuels, with emphasis on ethanol, biodiesel, biogas and sustainable fuels for aviation.
