With an investment of almost R$280 million, coming from Petrobras, the vacancies opened by Engeman are aimed at the offshore sector in Rio de Janeiro.

Engeman, one of the leading Brazilian companies in the industrial solutions sector, has won a significant contract with Petrobras worth R$280 million. With this, it has opened around 400 new jobs to work in Rio de Janeiro.

The partnership aims to provide maintenance services on offshore platforms. The agreement, with an initial duration of three years, can be extended for another 22 months and reflects Petrobras' continued confidence in Engeman's technical and operational capabilities.

Engeman and Petrobras sign new contract

The new contract with Petrobras covers a set of platforms located in the Campos Basin, one of the largest oil production hubs in Brazil.

Among the platforms that will have Engeman's services are the P-09, PCH-1, PCH-2, PGP-1, PNA-1, PNA-2, P-43 and P-48.

The company will be responsible for the predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment in the areas of Mechanics, Electrical and Instrumentation, in addition to performing industrial mountaineering services, maintenance of refrigeration systems and civil building installations.

Engeman's operations director, Jobe Medeiros, highlighted that the expansion of the partnership with Petrobras represents an important milestone for the company's growth.

“This contract represents a strategic milestone for Engeman, as it not only strengthens our position as a leader in providing industrial solutions for the offshore sector, but also reflects the trust that our customers place in our expertise and operational capabilities,” said Medeiros.

Training and partnerships for sustainable growth

Engeman, in its pursuit of operational excellence, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Brazilian Association of Maintenance and Asset Management (ABRAMAN), with the aim of training and certifying its employees.

This move not only aims to ensure the quality of services provided to Petrobras, but also to benefit Engeman's 5 employees throughout Brazil. This ensures that everyone is in compliance with the industry's best practices.

Jobe Medeiros emphasized that this training initiative is essential for the company’s continued success. “We are certain that this will have a direct impact on our customers’ satisfaction, with more qualified professionals and increasingly reliable and safe services,” said the director.

Petrobras investments and perspectives

In addition to the partnership with Engeman, Petrobras is also committed to the revitalization of the Campos Basin, which is part of its expansion plan for the coming years.

The Brazilian oil company plans to invest around US$23 billion in the region between 2025 and 2029, with emphasis on the entry of new production systems and the extension of operations in existing systems.

The forecast is that, in 2029, 32% of production in the Campos Basin will come from the pre-salt, through the connection of around 200 new wells.

This revitalization process will generate more jobs and opportunities for professionals in the area, being an additional attraction for those who wish to be part of the offshore sector and explore the possibilities offered by Petrobras.
