Expanding its portfolio in the national market of industrial services, the company Engeman was the winner of the bids for maintenance service contracts at the Montes Claros biodiesel plant and at the Pecém Thermoelectric plant.

The company Engeman is one of the largest in the industrial sector with maintenance services and, on Friday (03/06), closed two new contracts for this segment with great undertakings Brazilians for the provision of its services. The first is with the Montes Claros biodiesel plant, located in the state of Minas Gerais, and the second is part of the Pecém complex, for the maintenance of the Pecém Thermoelectric, located in the state of Ceará.

Engeman maintenance services will be carried out at the Montes Claros biodiesel plant after the company won bids for contracts

Engeman continues to expand its business portfolio in the Brazilian industrial sector and has now managed to win two bids for new contracts in the country, with the Montes Claros biodiesel plant and the Pecém Thermoelectric. Both businesses are for the provision of maintenance services for the company, a national reference in the provision of maintenance and repairs in various industrial segments.

Thus, the company will be responsible for a series of maintenance services to ensure the best performance of fuel production at the Montes Claros biodiesel plant, located in Minas Gerais. Among the services to be provided by Engeman are reactive and proactive industrial maintenance and optimization interventions in the mechanical, boilermaking, welding, electrical, instrumentation and refrigeration specialties.

In addition, all facilities at the Montes Claros biodiesel plant, whether operational, utilities or administrative, are under the scope of work of the contract and will be part of the services offered by the company.

Finally, Engeman confirmed that the term for completion of the contract is 2 years and signed with the company Petrobras Biodiesel, which manages the site. However, the deadlines for providing industrial maintenance services for the different production segments of the plant can also be extended with the signing of new contracts.

Porto do Pecém will count on the assistance of the reference company in the industrial sector for the provision of maintenance services at Thermoelectric Pecém with a focus on productive efficiency in the complex

The second of the contracts signed by Engeman after the company sold the bids was with the Port of Pecém. There were a series of maintenance services that will be provided to the complex, more specifically at the Pecém Thermoelectric, which has a total capacity of 720 megawatts, equivalent to half of Ceará's energy generating park, and guarantees the energy supply in the state.

The structure is one of the main highlights in Complexo do Pecém and increasingly requires investments in infrastructure and operational quality. In this way, Engeman will offer its corrective and preventive maintenance services for cranes and other lifting equipment at the Pecém thermoelectric plant.

The term of this contract for the completion of services is scheduled for the year 2025, but the company may negotiate the continuation with the Port Authority of Complexo do Pecém. Furthermore, the contract for maintenance repairs at Thermoelectric Pecém was closed with the company EDP, which will manage the project, and ensures yet another expansion of Engeman's presence in northeastern Brazil.

The company Engeman was founded in 1983 and operates with excellence in the development of solutions for the various sectors of industry. In addition, the company is one of the most solid in the Brazilian market in maintenance and operation of industrial equipment, both in offshore and onshore installations, with a focus on the oil and gas sector and ports in the country.
