The Pernambuco company Engeman has great opportunities of growth in the national market this Saturday, (03/12). The company was the big winner of the tender for the supply of large equipment for the coke unit of the Abreu e Lima Refinery (Rnest), in Ipojuca, Pernambuco. The equipment will be used in maintenance works and plant infrastructure. The contract with Rnest also provides for the generation of more than 100 job opportunities for residents of the region.
Engeman wins the tender and will be responsible for supplying large equipment to Rnest in the coming months
Engeman emerged as the big winner of the bidding process for the Rnest refinery to supply new large-scale equipment for the plant.
The agreement between the companies will have a total value of R$ 41 million over three years, greatly benefiting both companies.

However, the state of Pernambuco will also benefit from the partnership, as around 100 new job opportunities are expected for residents of the region.
Professionals will be hired in several areas to meet the needs of the equipment supply contract.
The machines will be used in infrastructure and maintenance work at the plant, such as decoking, electromechanical maintenance of the equipment involved, as well as all movement and dispatch of the fine product.
The list of Engeman's equipment includes cranes, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, among other items that will contribute to completing the necessary renovations at Rnest.
Contract between Rnest and Engeman foresees not only the supply of equipment, but also of labor, boosting job creation in the region
In addition to supplying all the necessary equipment to carry out the works at Rnest in the contract, Engeman will also be responsible for supplying labor for 24 hours for maintenance, as well as all movement and dispatch of the final product to the customer, which acquires Petrobras' green coke for application in several markets.
Petroleum coke is used as a reducer in the pig iron, ferroalloys, ceramics, cement, coal-fired thermoelectric, foundry, calcination, gasification, grain drying and chemical industries.
Rnest was designed to ensure flexibility in the use of various types of oil, as it has two sets of independent refining units.
Therefore, maintenance operations with Petrobras will become even more optimized with Engeman's workforce, provided in the contract.
In this way, job creation will be strongly boosted in the state of Pernambuco, as companies need qualified labor for the project.
