Last month, Imetame bought Petrobras' stake in the Lagoa Parda Pole. Now, to increase production to 700 barrels/day of oil, oil companies EnP and Imetame will work together to reactivate 29 wells in the field.
The Polo Lagoa Parda, in Espírito Santo, comprises three onshore concessions in production: Lagoa Parda, Lagoa Parda Norte and Lagoa Piabanha. From January to August this year, the average production of the onshore fields was approximately 113,5 barrels of oil per day (bpd) and 1,7 m3/day of natural gas.
Along with the fields, the Lagoa Parda Natural Gas Processing Unit (UPGN) was acquired, with a capacity of 1,25 million m3/day, and a Liquid Treatment Station with a capacity of 25 thousand barrels a day. The companies intend to reactivate the UPGN and open access to third parties.
“We will work to get the UPGN up and running again as soon as possible. It is important for Espírito Santo, for the Novo Mercado de Gas, and for the Brazilian onshore”, commented the CEO of EnP, Márcio Félix.
