Expected term of services contracted by the oil company runs until February 2025
Petrobras hired the company EQS Engineering to provide maintenance services for equipment and piping in the boilermaking and complementary specialties; steam generators and ovens; and painting, servicing the nine units of the Henrique Lage Refinery, also known as the Vale do Paraíba Refinery (Revap), located in São José dos Campos, in the state of São Paulo.
There are two contracts between Petrobras and the company. The first, in force since February 18, 2022, is due until October 14, 2026 in the amount of BRL 93.807.676,51 and the second is in force since February 21, 2022 with a due date until on February 19, 2025, in the amount of BRL 44.613.271,34. Totaling a millionaire amount of R$ 138.420.947,85. The contracts are of great volume.
Revap occupies an area of 10.000.000 m² on the Presidente Dutra highway, in São José dos Campos, in the so-called Vale do Paraíba area, a very important geographic region as it gives access to São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais and Porto of São Sebastião, on the north coast of São Paulo.

The refinery began operations in March 1980. It is currently responsible for supplying the São Paulo market and the country's Midwest, with the capacity to process 40.000 m³/d (252.000 barrels/day), equivalent to 14% of the national production of derived from oil. Revap is capable of processing 100% national oil, currently operates with a mix that varies from 80% to 90% of the Brazilian product and the rest of imported oil.
Services by EQS Engenharia at Revap will be carried out during Maintenance Shutdowns
Services on Revap's boilermaking equipment will be made during the so-called Maintenance Stops. This process is of great importance in industries, as many of the equipment cannot be removed from production for repair services or the like.
The refinery's main products are diluted asphalt, asphalt cement, coke, sulfur, carbon dioxide, gasoline, LPG, light refinery hydrocarbon (HLR), naphtha, fuel oil, diesel oil, propylene, aviation kerosene (QAV-1) and medium solvent.
