Norwegian Equinor estimates 350 new jobs offshore and onshore once the platform goes into operation at the end of 2020.
Equinor's Peregrino C Platform goes into operation next year and will create around 350 new job openings in Brazil and abroad, according to a statement by the Norwegian company this Monday afternoon, November 11, on its official network. The jacket, topside and living quarter of the new Peregrino C platform is on its way to the Campos basin in Brazil and will arrive in December. Here it will be installed by the huge heavy cargo ship Sleipnir.

The Peregrino camp, operated by Equinor, is located in the BM-C-7 and BM-C-47 licenses, approximately 85 km off the coast of Brazil, in the Campos basin, in a water depth of 100m.
It is the company's largest international operation outside Norway. The field consists of two fixed wellhead platforms and a floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) unit.

Peregrino C is part of the Peregrino Phase II Project, which includes the addition of a third fixed structure platform.
The platform will contribute to extending the useful life of the Peregrino field and will add value for 20 years. It will add 273 million in recoverable reserves, in addition to generating many jobs.
