Lasting 12 to 24 months, the Alpargatas internship program was designed to maximize the development of each participant. At participate in the selection process, candidates must be enrolled in courses in the technologist, bachelor's or licentiate's modalities, with training expected between December 2025 and 2026. Internship vacancies at Alpargatas are available for both the hybrid model, operating at the company's headquarters in São Paulo /SP, as well as for the in-person model at the factories in Montes Claros/MG, Carpina/PE, Campina Grande/PB and Santa Rita/PB. The workload is 6 continuous hours per day, from Monday to Friday.

The interns’ journey at Alpargatas is made up of several stages, each planned to maximize learning and development:
- Onboarding: New interns immerse themselves in the Alpa universe, learning about the company's history, brands, areas, processes and main challenges.
- On the Job: Practical learning, where interns understand the role of their area in the organization and get involved with activities and processes.
- Softskills: Trail with behavioral content to support interns in the transition from academic to professional life.
- Functional: Exclusive trail for factory interns, focused on themes from the factory reality.
- Individual Project: Interns develop individual projects that propose improvements or innovations for the area of activity.
- Alpathon: Marathon of ideas where groups discuss solutions and prototype projects to be presented on Pitch Day.

The selection process consists of the following stages: registration, online tests (cultural fit and logical reasoning), online group dynamics, in-person stage, online panel and finally hiring.
