The State Technical Schools (Etecs) of Centro Paula Souza (CPS) are with open for subscriptions for the first half of 2025, offering more than 92 thousand places in free courses in different areas and types of education. The opportunities are aimed at young people and adults interested in entering High School, Technical School, Integrated High School with Technical School, or in specialization courses and remaining places.
Etecs courses aim to main goal To offer quality technical and academic training that enables faster and more advanced insertion into the job market. The courses offered are in-person, blended learning and online, allowing flexibility and adaptation to the students' routine. The workload varies according to the course and the chosen course, involving theoretical and practical classes and assessment activities.
Vacancies available in technical courses and locations of offer
The vacancies are distributed among the Etecs and decentralized classes, in partnership with city halls and the State Secretariat for Education (Seduc-SP). For Integrated High School and Technical Education, 49.633 places are offered; for the AMS format, 2.543 places in 42 units. High School with formative itineraries offers 2.270 places.

There are 36.500 places available for in-person, blended and distance learning technical courses. There are 1.296 places available for technical specializations, 920 of which are distance learning. There are remaining places in areas such as Administration, Electronics, Logistics and Occupational Safety.
Selection process and social inclusion
The selection process will be carried out through an exam, with points added for social inclusion. The Increased Points System grants bonuses of up to 13% to Afro-descendants and students from public schools. Candidates with disabilities may request special conditions for the exam by presenting a medical report.
Transgender candidates also have the right to be addressed by their social name and must state this preference when applying.
Application requirements
To participate, candidates must meet the requirements for each modality. For High School and Integrated High School with Technical Education, candidates must have completed Elementary School. For technical courses, candidates must be currently enrolled in or have completed High School.
Specializations will exclude the completion of a technical or higher education course by January 10, 2025. Payment of the registration fee must be made by November 26.
