The company Eternit is using its space at the Intersolar South America fair to present the future of the solar energy market in Brazil, its latest launches of photovoltaic tiles, which promise to make the production of the resource even more efficient.
During its participation in the Intersolar South America fair, which will end this coming Thursday, (25/08), in the state of São Paulo, the company Eternit is presenting its latest launches of photovoltaic tiles. They use a work unique in the Brazilian solar energy production market, which allows the resource capture module to be applied more efficiently on the tiles, allowing for more quality in energy generation.
Intersolar South America fair features the presentation of new photovoltaic tiles by Eternit to boost solar energy production in Brazil
With the strong growth in the field of renewable energy production in the domestic market over the last few years, the company Eternit has been investing in new equipment for the solar energy sector.
Now, the company takes advantage of its space at the solar energy fair in Latin America, Intersolar, to present the new acquisitions of its portfolio of products sold in the sector, photovoltaic tiles.

The company Eternit presented its new line of photovoltaic tiles, Tégula Solar, which includes the models BIG-F10C, BIG-F11, Plana F-12 and PLANA-F15 and, according to the company, presents gains in power and practicality of installation in relation to the first of the group's photovoltaic tiles, the BIG-F10.
During Intersolar 2021, the company's first photovoltaic tile model was presented, which was well received by the market, but Eternit used the space of the new fair in 2022 to expand its product portfolio with cutting-edge technology installed in the new system of solar energy.
The group also recently received the registration of a green patent by the INPI (National Institute of Industrial Property), granting the exclusive right to commercially exploit the technology in Brazil. This is because photovoltaic tiles are an innovative project and have a unique manufacturing process in the national market.
At the end of last year, the company obtained approval from INMETRO to place the new photovoltaic tiles on the market, after presenting its first model, and Eternit is now focusing on expanding its presence in the solar energy sector.
New line of photovoltaic tiles presented at Intersolar guarantee more quality and efficiency in the production of solar energy
The company Eternit commented on the efficiency of its new line of photovoltaic tiles in the solar energy market and highlighted that “The BIG-F10C model offers greater flexibility in installation, on roofs that have already been built or renovations in roofs that use BIG concrete tile from Tégula. The PLANA-F15, on the other hand, has a power of 15Wp (Watt-peak), uses a 34 cm gauge and requires a little less than 10 pcs/m². The greater occupation of the tile area with photovoltaic cells makes the model the most powerful in the power/coverage area comparison.”
Regarding the BIG-F11 roof tile model, in turn, Eternit says that it is an evolution of the BIG-F10, thus optimizing the capture of rays for the production of solar energy in homes and other buildings.
In addition, the new product has a total of 20% more power compared to the first, with 11Wp (Watt-peak), with an average final production of 1,4 kWh/month.
In this way, the company Eternit continues to invest in improvements in its products for solar energy systems and has been gaining more space in the renewable energy market in Brazil, becoming a reference in much of the country in terms of its performance in the sector.
