Brazil pockets rivers of money with pre-salt oil and gas!

Brazil experienced an extraordinary year in 2024, with impressive numbers that reinforce the relevance of pre-salt as one of the country's largest sources of wealth. Pré-Sal Petróleo SA (PPSA) raised an astonishing R$10,32 billion from the sale of oil and natural gas shares belonging to the Union.

This value marks a growth of 71% compared to 2023., when revenue was R$6,02 billion. This leap is not just an economic achievement; it is a clear indication that the production sharing model is working as an essential engine to boost public coffers.

PPSA attributes the performance to the expansion of production and the success of marketing strategies, which have been refined year after year to maximize the Union's financial results.

Oil production on the rise: Pre-Salt Shows Its Strength

In absolute numbers, the production of oil and gas in the pre-salt was simply gigantic. During the year 2024, PPSA carried out the shipment of 56 oil loads, totaling impressive 27,39 million barrels. These cargoes came from strategic fields, with emphasis on Mero, responsible for 43 shipments, followed by Búzios, Sépia and other important fields such as Atapu and Tupi.

In the natural gas segment, the numbers are also remarkable. 53,8 million cubic meters of gas were sold to Petrobras, consolidating an operation that connects the riches of the subsoil to the country's energy needs. These results illustrate how the pre-salt is much more than just a strategic reserve: it is a vital cog in the Brazilian economy.

With this productive robustness, the pre-salt solidifies its position as one of the main pillars of Brazil's energy and economic matrix, also standing out on the international scene as one of the most promising oil frontiers in the world.

Monthly Records: December, the month golden

Among the months of the year, December 2024 deserves special mention. The month recorded a record collection of R$2 billion, surpassing the previous milestone of R$1,4 billion in August. This result reflects the increase in production in the contracted fields and the continuous improvement of the sales processes carried out by PPSA since 2021.

This performance demonstrates that the pre-salt is a source of wealth that goes far beyond crude oil: it is a true financial engine that contributes directly to public coffers and to the development of social and economic policies on several fronts.

A Billion-Dollar Decade Ahead

The future of pre-salt is even more promising. According to PPSA projections, in 2030, the Union's share should reach 543 thousand barrels per day, resulting in an estimated annual revenue of $ 69 billion. By 2034, this number could reach the impressive mark of R$ 506 billion accumulated.

These projections not only reflect the technical and economic potential of the pre-salt layer, but also highlight the need for strategic and sustainable management to ensure that these resources are applied to the country's development. After all, the pre-salt layer is not only an opportunity to enrich the nation, but also to build a fairer and more prosperous future for Brazilians.

And you, can you imagine the impact of this wealth on everyday life? These numbers are more than just statistics; they are a chance to transform Brazil. Follow, cover and participate in this movement that can change our history!

And a lot of money would be enough to solve the problem of health, education, security and infrastructure, but unfortunately the politicians who are in power today do not want to solve it, leaving the people always dependent on them, and it is very sad.

This government just needs to stop stealing from the company, without throwing money away on failed ESG projects.
