This Tuesday, (29/10), the Technical School Support Foundation (Faetec) is accepting applications for the 2025 selection process, offering 7.334 vacancies in different types of education, including basic education, courses technical and undergraduate courses. Applications are open until November 10th and must be submitted directly on the institution's official website. With opportunities distributed throughout the state of Rio de Janeiro, Faetec aims to attract students who wish to qualify for the job market or advance in their studies.
More than 5 thousand vacancies for Technical Courses
The largest volume of vacancies offered by Faetec is aimed at technical courses. There are, in total, 5.879 vacancies, divided into different training categories:
- Technical Integrated with High School: For students who wish to attend high school together with technical training, 2.023 places are offered.
- Subsequent Technician: For those who have already completed high school or who are enrolled from the 2nd year onwards, 3.590 places are available.
Faetec's technical courses cover areas of high demand in the market, such as Administration, IT, Electrical Engineering, Clinical Analysis, Mechanics, Nursing and Logistics, among other options.

The registration fee for technical courses is R$58, and the selection process involves an objective test in Portuguese and Mathematics, which will take place on December 15th.
Theater and Music Courses with special vacancies
In addition to traditional technical courses, Faetec offers opportunities specific to artistic areas.
At the Martins Pena Theater State Technical School (ETE), 40 places are available for the Dramatic Arts course, in the modality subsequent to high school.
For the Musical Instrument course, there are 50 vacancies, with a selection process that includes skills tests, scheduled for December 14th and 15th.
Registration for these courses also costs R$58.
Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education
Faetec also offers vacancies in basic education.
For early childhood education, aimed at children aged 3 to 5, there are 98 places available in the units in the capital of Rio de Janeiro and in Campos dos Goytacazes, in the North of Rio de Janeiro.
The selection process will be carried out by means of a draw.
In elementary education, the institution opened 305 places distributed across units in Campos dos Goytacazes.
For full-time elementary education, 304 places are offered, with a registration fee of R$58, and the selection process will be carried out through an objective test in Portuguese Language and Mathematics.
Faetec opens vacancies for higher education
For those seeking a degree, Faetec is offering 558 vacancies in higher education courses.
The opportunities are distributed across the Technological Education Colleges of Rio de Janeiro, located in cities such as Barra Mansa, Bom Jesus de Itabapoana, Paracambi, Três Rios, Santo Antônio de Pádua, Itaperuna, Petrópolis and Duque de Caxias.
Furthermore, the Higher Education Institutes of Rio de Janeiro (Isepam and Iserj) are also part of the selection process.
The registration fee for undergraduate courses is R$58, and the tests will be held on December 15th, with an assessment of knowledge in Portuguese and Mathematics.
Open vacancies for children of civil servants and specialization
In compliance with State Law 8.250/2018, Faetec reserved 266 exclusive places for children of effective employees of the Faetec Network.
These opportunities are available in the CAPs-Iserj and Isepam courses.
Additionally, there are a total of 60 vacancies for normal high school level and general training courses at Iserj and Isepam, with registration fees costing R$20 and selection by lottery, scheduled to take place on December 14th.
For those who already have a technical Nursing course and are looking for a specialization, Faetec also offers 40 places for the Specialization course in Occupational Nursing.
Calendar and registration
Registration for all courses must be completed by November 10th, directly on the official Faetec website.
Registration fees vary depending on the course chosen, ranging from R$20 to R$58. For courses that require objective tests, the exam will be held on December 15, while the draws for specific courses will take place on December 14.
The registration period is scheduled to take place between January 21 and 28, 2025, according to the schedule provided in the notice.
