For graduate professionals residing in Maranhão, through the Farol Program, Porto do Itaqui is offering scholarships at FAPEMA. Scholarships can reach up to R$ 4 thousand per month

Porto do Itaqui is looking for graduated professionals with up to three years of training who live in Maranhão. According to the Foundation for Research and Scientific and Technological Development of Maranhão (FAPEMA), in partnership with the Maranhão Company of Port Administration (Emap), scholarships will be offered in the amount of R$ 4 thousand.

Professionals who graduated between June 2018 and June 2021 in the following courses may participate in the scholarship program:

  • Economy
  • Accounting Sciences
  • Journalism
  • Advertising Advertising
  • Visual arts
  • Design
  • Computer science
  • Systems Analysis and Development
  • Information Technology Management
  • Computer engineering
  • Information systems
  • Technologist in Data Processing and Computer Networks
  • Civil Engineering
  • Electrical Mechanics
  • Logistics
  • Production

The professionals will work at Emap's headquarters or in field work together with the company's technicians. The activities will be fully guided and monitored by technicians from the institution.

In total, there are 10 scholarships offered by FAPEMA, valid for 12 months, which may be extended for another 12 months. It is worth mentioning that registrations can be carried out until the 13th of August. Those who live in Maranhão and are approved in the FAPEMA scholarship program will work in the following areas: Finance, Management, Communication, Design, Information Technology and Port Operation.

To compete for opportunities in Maranhão, professionals must prepare a pre-project in line with the Work Plan that is provided for in the NOTICE published by FAPEMA, which proposes scientific research or technological innovation in the area chosen by the competitor. The project must have a maximum of 10 pages including all pages of the attached file.

In addition, professionals will need to create a Pitch Video containing personal presentation, justification for why you want to participate in the Porto do Itaqui program, and from the reading of the text “the history of the container” and also according to the professional’s knowledge about innovation, must be answered in a question found in the public notice .

It is worth noting that the response must be no longer than three minutes and the video must be made available on YouTube with a link sent when the proposal is submitted. After this phase, the institutions will begin the second stage of the call, which is the Analysis of the Merit and Relevance of the pre-project, where there will be an analysis of the curriculum, the Pitch Video, Interview of the professionals and finally, the last step will take place through a practical test.
