O Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP) launched an unmissable opportunity for those who want to qualify in areas of high demand in the job market. The IFSP is offering 7.037 places for free technical courses in various areas, such as mechanics, mechatronics, industrial automation, IT, administration, among others. These vacancies are distributed across 39 campuses spread across the state, including cities such as São Paulo, Campinas, Araraquara and Bragança Paulista. Integrated and subsequent technical courses
Among the vacancies, 4.072 are for technical courses integrated into high school, aimed at students who wish to complete high school along with technical training. The other 2.965 vacancies are for concomitant or subsequent courses, intended for those who have already completed or are attending high school at another institution. Registration and fee exemption
But watch out! Registration must be made exclusively via the IFSP selection process website until the day September 8th, 2024.
Selection will be made through an objective test with 30 multiple-choice questions, covering knowledge of Portuguese and Mathematics. The tests will be administered on the day October 20th, 2024, on the campus or in the city in the same region where the candidate wishes to study.
Low-income applicants can also request an application fee exemption. According to the rules, those with a per capita family income equal to or less than 1,5 minimum wages (up to R$2.118), who have attended primary education at a public school or with a full scholarship at a private school, can request an exemption. The deadline to request the exemption ends on August 18, 2024.

How to register
To register, the candidate must follow some essential steps:
- Read notice 88/2024 in full.
- Create a registration on the Candidate Portal.
- Complete the registration form and socioeconomic questionnaire.
- Pay the registration fee, worth R$50 for integrated courses and R$20 for concomitant or subsequent courses, for those who do not qualify for the exemption. Payment can be made via PIX, credit card or Federal Collection Guide (GRU), exclusively at Banco do Brasil.
