The Federal Institute of Amapá (Ifap) is offering free courses for women interested in strengthening their presence in entrepreneurship and the job market. The ‘Empodera Mulher’ Program offers 540 vacancies in free professional courses, with the aim of training and empowering women in situations of social vulnerability.

The selection process to fill vacancies is now open, with online registration on the institution's website, from January 14th to 28th.
The free courses offered cover the areas of Planning Assistance, Production Programming and Control and Individual Microentrepreneur.

Where will the professional courses be located?
An innovative initiative by the Institute, Empodera Mulher counts on a partnership with the State government, through the departments of Social Assistance (SEAS) and Policies for Women (SEPM) in the municipalities involved.
Among them are Macapá, Pracuúba, Santana, Mazagão, Pedra Branca do Amapari, Laranjal do Jari, Porto Grande, Ferreira Gomes and Oiapoque.
Benefits for participants
Participants selected for the free professional courses will receive a permanence grant worth R$600.
This benefit aims to provide financial support during the training period, facilitating the active participation of women in the courses.
How will places be distributed?
Among the 540 vacancies available, 30 are reserved exclusively for indigenous women residing in Oiapoque, in collaboration with the National Indian Foundation (Funai).

Who can enroll in the Federal Institute’s free professional courses?
Women at least 18 years old who meet the education requirements established for each course can enroll, as per the notice.
In addition, you must preferably reside in the city where the course will be offered, be available to participate in classes in person and be registered in the Single Registry for Social Programs (CadÚnico).
Documents required to register
The documents required to enroll in the Federal Institute's free professional courses are: identity document, CPF, proof of residence, proof of registration with CadÚnico, proof of education level, proof of children (if any), proof of family income, and authorization form for the use of image and voice, available on the Institute's website.
