The Federal Institute of São Paulo has hundreds of places in free technical courses on 8 campuses. Registration for free courses will close in January.
The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo (IFSP) is open for registration for the selection process for free technical courses in the Youth and Adult Education (EJA) program for the 1st semester of 2024.
List of free courses offered by the Federal Institute of São Paulo
In total, eight campuses of the Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP), distributed across various regions of the state, are offering a total of 380 places for free EJA technical courses. It is worth noting that it is a mandatory requirement that candidates for free courses have completed elementary school. The training courses provided by the Federal Institute are:
- Sertaozinho – Mechanical Technician Integrated into High School (Evening – 6 semesters);
- Capivari – Administration Technician Integrated into High School (Evening – 6 semesters);
- Birigui – Commerce Technician Integrated into High School (Evening – 6 semesters);
- São Paulo – Administration Technician Integrated into High School (Evening – 6 semesters);
- Barretos – Accommodation Technician Integrated into High School (Evening – 6 semesters);
- Campinas – Telecommunications Technician Integrated into High School (Evening – 6 semesters);
- jacarei – Logistics Technician Integrated into High School (Evening – 6 semesters);
- Matão – Occupational Safety Technician integrated into High School (Evening – 6 semesters).

Upon obtaining a high school or technical education diploma, the student has the prerequisite for entering higher education, being able to choose the area that best fits their professional dreams.

Registration is open until January 11th and must be completed exclusively online through the form provided by the IFSP. Candidates interested in free technical courses must attach the documents as requested in item 3 of the aforementioned notice.
For those who do not have access to the internet or a computer, with exceptions for registration assistance, the Instituto Federal de São Paulo will offer in-person support on the campuses of interest. Addresses can be found at Annex I of Notice No. 620/2023.
The selection of candidates for free technical courses will be carried out in different ways on nine campuses. In eight of them the selection will be made through a draw, while at the Capivari Campus the choice will be made through interviews.
The draw for free courses is scheduled for January 17th, with the location and time to be announced previously. The interviews at Campus Capivari will be held on January 17th and 18th, and the call will be made by the campus itself.
The publication of the final result of the selection process for free courses and the first call for enrollment are scheduled for January 24, 2024.
