The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN), announced the opening of two new notices for a Simplified selection process focusing on hiring substitute teachers. According to the notices, the two available vacancies are divided into the disciplines of Accounting and Financial Administration (Campus Natal-North Zone) e Information Systems (Campus Natal-North Zone). For the first position, a Degree in Administration, Degree in Accounting Sciences, Degree in Economics or Degree in Production Engineering is required.
For Information Systems, a degree in computing or a higher education course with a postgraduate degree in computing is required.

The salary to be received by the successful candidate in the Federal Institute competition corresponds to the initial gross salary of R$ 3.412,63, equivalent to the Basic Salary for the 40-hour work week of Class DI, Level 01 of the Teaching Career in Basic, Technical and Technological Education, which may be added to the value of Remuneration for Qualification (RT) and advantages, benefits and additional benefits provided for in the legislation.
How to register for the Federal Institute selection process?
To register for the Federal Institute competition, candidates must fill out the registration form available on the IFRN website, on July 18th this year, from 10 am, until July 31, 2024. The participation fee for both positions is R$78,00.
Requirements for investiture in the position are Brazilian nationality, enjoyment of political rights, discharge of military and electoral obligations, education level and professional qualification required to hold the position, minimum age of 18 years, physical and mental fitness, proven through medical-occupational and laboratory clinical assessment carried out by the IFRN medical service.
It is worth mentioning that failure to present the proof required in the notice will result in the candidate not being successful, nullifying the acts or effects arising from registration in the Federal Institute selection process.
Os simplified selection processes will be valid for two years, counting from the date on which the approval of the final result is published in the Official Gazette of the Union, may be extended for the same period.
Stages of the selection process of the Federal Institute's selection process from Rio Grande do Norte
The Federal Institute selection process will consist of a Performance Test and a qualifications test. The performance test will be awarded a score from 0 to 100 points, with the candidate who obtains a minimum of 60 points being considered qualified for this test.
The performance test will consist of a 45-minute lecture, according to the selected topic, and will focus on evaluating the candidate's specific knowledge and didactic-pedagogical capacity. The performance test will be carried out before an Examining Board made up of three professionals from the Subject/Discipline or Education area.
The qualifications test will be awarded a score from 0 to 100 points, the candidate must present proof of all qualifications that will be analyzed by the Examining Board at the time of taking the Performance Test, and will receive proof of delivery of the documentation.
