New job vacancies open in the selection process at the Federal University of Amazonas: Institution is looking for dozens of professionals in the new selection process for EAD tutor.
The Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM) recently announced a new notice that opens registrations for a selection process with vacancies for EAD and in-person Tutors to work on courses offered by the university in partnership with the Open University of Brazil Program (UAB).
Areas with open job vacancies at the Federal University
In total, there are 21 vacancies for distance learning and in-person tutors with opportunities to form a reserve register. Those selected receive a scholarship worth R$1.100 per month. Those approved in the selection process will work on the Specialization courses in School Physical Education, Specialization in Amazonian Business and Specialization in Digital Technologies for Basic Education in distance learning.
Among the requirements to participate in the job selection process from the Federal University must have a minimum degree in the area or a related field at the end of the course for which the candidate is applying, be available for at least twenty hours per week to carry out work-related activities, including on weekends; and be available to participate in in-person or online pedagogical meetings, including on weekends.

Those approved for EAD tutor vacancies will be responsible for mediating content communications between teacher and students, monitoring student activities, according to the course schedule, supporting the subject teacher in the development of teaching activities, establishing permanent contact with students and mediate student activities, in addition to collaborating with the course coordination in student evaluation.
In person, you will be responsible for implementing assessment activities in person at the centers, supporting the coordination of the course at the centers, organizing the rooms and equipment for activities carried out in person, among others.
How to register and participate in the Federal University selection process?
Registration for distance learning and in-person tutor vacancies must be made from the 12th to the 18th of August, exclusively through an online form on the CED website, using a specific form and sending the documentation required in the notice in PDF format.
Carrying out the Selection Process for job vacancies (planning, dissemination and execution) is the responsibility of the Selection Process Committee for In-Person and Distance Tutors, designated by order issued by the director of the Distance Education Center (CED/UFAM) to the specialization courses in Amazon Business and Specialization in Digital Technologies for Basic Education and by the director of the Faculty of Physical Education and Physiotherapy (Feff/Ufam) for the Specialization course in School Physical Education.
Stages of the selection process for job vacancies at the Federal University
The selection process for EAD tutor vacancies will be carried out by a selection committee composed of three members and carried out through two stages, namely qualification test (eliminatory and qualifying) and interview (eliminatory and qualifying), which will includeprove the capabilities to perform tutorial activities.
The first stage is scheduled to take place on August 23rd to 28th. The second stage will carry out an online interview with candidates classified in the first stage, ranging from zero to one hundred points. The date and time of each candidate's online interview will be published on the CED website, which may take place from September 2nd to 4th, and via email sent to the candidates.
The interview will evaluate the following items: knowledge in the course area, knowledge in tutoring, interpersonal communication, availability of time and computer knowledge.
