Fiat Strada takes first place in 2024, with sales growth and widespread preference among Brazilians
The Fiat Strada was the vehicle best-selling vehicle in Brazil in 2024. The compact pickup truck registered almost 145 thousand units throughout the year, consolidating its leadership. In December alone, Strada registered 16.235 registered units, reinforcing its good performance in the national market.
Compared to 2023, the model saw significant growth. In the previous year, 120 units were sold. In other words, in 2024, there was an increase of around 25 cars. In addition, Fiat ended the year with a market share of 20,98% among cars and light commercial vehicles.
Fiat Strada Highlights
The best-selling Fiat Strada is currently offered in seven variants. Its starting price starts at R$105.990 for the Endurance single-cab version. This configuration features a 1.3-horsepower 107 engine.

Among the standard equipment of the entry-level version are air conditioning, electric steering, dual airbags, rev counter, stability and traction control, ladder rack, among other important items for everyday use.
The more expensive Ultra and Ranch versions are equipped with a double cabin and a 1.0 turbo engine with 130 horsepower. The 7-speed CVT automatic transmission provides greater driving comfort.
These versions feature a series of technological and convenience items. Among them, a 7-inch multimedia system, induction charger, rear camera, multifunctional steering wheel, Hill Holder, heated rear window and integrated roll bar.
In addition, the Strada has automatic digital air conditioning, paddle shifters, ABS brakes with EBD, on-board computer, remote control key and longitudinal roof bars.
Volkswagen Polo leads among passenger cars
In second place in the overall market was the Volkswagen Polo, with just over 140 units registered. Although it was the best-selling passenger car, it was unable to overtake the Fiat pickup truck in the year to date.
The Polo took on the mission of replacing the Gol in the market and managed to lead among passenger models.
Bestsellers ranking in 2024
The Top 5 was made up of Fiat Strada (144.684 units), Volkswagen Polo (140.177), Chevrolet Onix (97.503), Hyundai HB20 (97.079) and Fiat Argo (91.139).
The year also recorded good numbers for SUVs such as the Volkswagen T-Cross (83.990 units) and the Chevrolet Tracker (69.431).
With this performance, Fiat Strada reaffirms its position as the preferred car of Brazilians in 2024.
