Vacancies and salary: what you need to know

The contest offers a total of 30 vacancies for Officers, all destined for the state of Bahia. Of these, 21 are for general competition and 9 are reserved for black candidates, respecting state legislation on quotas.

During the Officer Training Course (CFO), successful candidates will receive a scholarship that increases progressively over the three years of training. The amounts are:

  • R$ 2.630,83 in the first year,
  • R$ 3.069,31 in the second,
  • R$ 3.507,78 in the third.

Upon completion of the course, Officers can be hired with an initial salary of approximately R$3.507,78, in addition to benefits such as a career plan, stability and additional features that can further increase the value.

Who can participate? Important requirements

To apply for a position, interested parties must meet a series of requirements, including:

  • Age between 18 and 30 years until the last day of registration;
  • Complete high school;
  • Minimum height of 1,60m (men) and 1,55m (women);
  • Be up to date with mandatory military service (for men);
  • Being a voter and enjoying full political rights;
  • Have a National Driver's License (category B);
  • Prove physical, mental and psychological fitness through exams and tests.

Another crucial point is proof of moral suitability, provided by negative certificates issued by police and judicial bodies, both state and federal.

Selection process: how the selection will be

The competition is divided into two big steps, consisting of qualifying and eliminatory assessments. The main phases include:

  1. Objective proof, with 80 questions on general and specific knowledge;
  2. speech test (essay);
  3. psychological assessment;
  4. Physical tests, which assess resistance and physical fitness;
  5. Medical and dental examinations;
  6. social research, which verifies the candidate's conduct history;
  7. Documentary examination, which certifies the regularity of the information provided.

O Officer Training Course (CFO), the final stage of the process, lasts three years and is carried out full-time. During this period, cadets undergo practical and theoretical training in areas such as operational tactics, leadership and crisis management.

Registration: dates and how to participate

Registration is open since December 5, 2024 and go to 5 January 2025. The entire process must be carried out through the official website of the competition, organized by the State University of Bahia (UNEB).

  • Registration fee: £ 150.
  • Exemption: Candidates registered in the Single Registry for Social Programs (CadÚnico) can request exemption from payment on December 5th and 6th, 2024.
