PI Firemen's Contest doubles the offer of vacancies in a new public notice and offers 400 opportunities for HIGH SCHOOL candidates

New PI Fire Contest for high school candidates is about to arrive. Stay on top of key information and requirements.

O PI Firefighters Contest (Fire Department of the State of Piauí), aimed at high school candidates, should have an increase in its vacancies. Despite the initial offer expected to be 200 vacancies for soldiers, 100 of which to be filled immediately and 100 to form a reserve personnel register, the government announced, last Sunday (12), that this number in the public tender should double to 400, 200 immediate and 200 for reserve registrations.

O selective process of the PI Fire Contest was once again announced by the secretary of public security, Chico Lucas, in early January. However, the publication date of the edict still needs to be confirmed. New information to be released soon.

The public contest for high school candidates already has a defined organizing board, which is the Center for Contests and Promotion of Events at the State University of Piauí. Only after signing the contract will a precise date for the publication of the public notice be confirmed.

Those approved in the firefighters 2023 contest will have an initial remuneration of R$ 3.294. Among the required requirements are the complete high school or equivalent, and minimum height (men must be at least 1,60, while women must be at least 1,55).

The minimum age required is 18 years old and a maximum age of 30 years old at the registration period of the public tender. Other points required to enter the position are to be Brazilian, born or naturalized, to be up to date with electoral obligations, to have unblemished public and private conduct, to be up to date with military service, to be a Reservist of the Armed Forces, among others.

Colonel José Arimatéia Rêgo de Araújo, commander of the Fire Department of the State of Piauí, made some essential statements about the possibility of a new public tender for high school candidates.

The representative informed that the state government authorized the holding of the event and that the authorization would have come out in the last week. Still, he went over the next steps that will be taken from the green light. Araújo says that he will make the term of reference, the notice and proceed.

Among the documents required for enrollment in the public contest are the Birth or Marriage Certificate, CIC/CPF, PIS or PASEP (if you are registered in one of them), Proof of discharge of electoral obligations, original voter registration card and a copy, Certificate of Completion with successful completion of the Soldier Training Course (CFSd) according to the course's regulatory standards, and declaration of military behavior for Armed Forces Reservists, as well as former soldiers of the Military Police or Military Fire Brigades.

The last public tender for high school candidates took place in 2017, with its objective tests on November 19 of the same year. In total, there were 110 immediate vacancies. The initial remuneration for the position of Soldier was BRL 3.294,99, in accordance with Law 6.173/2012.

The event included a knowledge exam with objective and discursive evidence, a health exam, a Physical Aptitude test, a Social Investigation, a Psychological Examination and a Training Course. The objective test lasted 5 hours, with 60 multiple-choice questions, with a structure of 12 questions on Portuguese, 6 on Chemistry, 10 on Mathematics, 6 on Physics and 6 on Computer Basics. In Specific Knowledge, there were 20 questions distributed between Institutional Legislation and Notions of Law.
