New electric bike from Igogomi shocks trail lovers with its versatility and practicality
The Igogomi brand recently launched its Off-Road electric bicycle, produced with robust tires to ride on different types of terrain, including trails. The model is very compact, weighing only 32 kg (including batteries), and has a folding mechanism.
The Off-Road bike model was presented in two different versions
The e-bike has two versions: Standard and Pro, both with a very attractive aesthetic. Igogomi describes the frame's style as "bionic, simple and elegant", stating that it mimics the streamlined body of a dolphin. The colors are also very dolphin-like, with the Standard version offered in Ice Blue, while the Pro comes in an elegant Midnight Gray. Adding to the bike's practicality score is an easy-to-use folding mechanism found on the front of the bike.
E-bike performance made for hikers
When it comes to performance, the Off-Road Pro trumps the Standard, with a larger capacity battery. The 13 Ah battery in the Pro claims a range of up to 90 km per charge, while the 9,6 Ah battery in the Standard version can offer up to 75 km. Full charging time is approximately five hours. In addition, both versions of the Off-Road are equipped with a robust 750W electric motor, with a maximum speed of 45 km per hour.

As for the base of the bikes, both have thick 20 x 4-inch tires, which allowed them to be baptized as Off-Road. Thanks to the large contact surface area and lower tire pressures provided by this setup, the bikes can handle anything – mud, snow, sand and gravel. In addition, they feature a good E-ABS system, as well as front and rear disc brakes. To top it off, the Off-Roads were made with a seven-speed Shimano transmission system.
Is the price of these Off-Road electric bikes really affordable?
For such a versatile model, the US price was a good surprise: US$ 1,7 for the Standard and US$ 1,8 for the Pro. Deliveries are scheduled to start in March 2023 and sales will be made by company website based in California.
