The Shineray Jet 50s hits the market costing less than R$9 and delivering several pieces of equipment to displace the sales reign of the Honda Pop 110.

For those looking for a new two-wheeled vehicle option at an affordable price, it's worth keeping an eye on the market. Despite the Honda dominate the segment locally, a new competitor emerged, ready to compete directly with the Japanese giant. In this article, we present Shineray's new motorcycle – Shineray Jet 50s, which promises to rival the popular Honda Pop 110.

Which cheap Shineray motorcycle came to dominate the market?

Surprisingly, a Chinese company seeks to take over the Japanese company's position among the most popular customers. Now the offer is for a cheap motorcycle from Shineray in the range of R$ 8 millionl, with the intention of winning the title of “Cheapest in Brazil".

According to information from TV FOCO, the Shineray Jet 50s arrives to upset Honda's Pop 110. This time, the two-wheeled vehicle features a digital dashboard, luggage storage, USB charging, among some other details, which enrich the model.

The design follows the classic design of its predecessor, which was already a success among the brand's customers. The objective remains the same, being an accessible alternative, with low price and consumption. In recent years, Honda has had to change its plans, impacting even the motorcycles that are successful among the public in some countries.

In addition to the new look, the new Shineray Jet 50s is offered with five paint options: white with blue seat and details, red with black details, black with brown details, white with brown details and white with black details. Among the differences, the model has alloy wheels, front disc brakes, electric start, rev counter and much more.

Honda Pop 110i rival reaches 75 km/h

It is worth mentioning that, for a model to be classified as a moped, its engine cannot have a capacity greater than 50 cylinders and its maximum speed cannot exceed 50 km/h. This is where the change of category to a classification as a conventional motorcycle comes from, as the brand announced that the maximum speed of the new low-cost Shineray Jet 50s motorcycle is 75 km/h.

Speaking of the engine, Shineray's affordable motorcycle, rival to the Honda Pop 110i, uses a 4-stroke single-cylinder engine with a capacity of 50 cylinders. It uses only gasoline, is powered by a carburetor and has a control in the head activating the two valves. In this way, it can deliver 2,7 hp of power at 8 thousand RPM and 0,26 kgfm of torque at 6.000 RPM. The transmission is 4-speed mechanical with automatic clutch.

In main measurements, the new cheap Shineray Jet 50S motorcycle is 1.910 mm long, 660 mm wide, 1.105 mm high and has a wheelbase of 1.275 mm. The curb weight is 106 kg and the tank is capable of holding up to 3 liters of fuel.

Another Shineray motorcycle has just arrived on the market for R$9.990

In addition to the Shineray Jet that arrives to compete with the Honda Pop, the brand also launched the unprecedented Shineray Free 150 EFI, for the suggested price of R$9.990 plus shipping and taxes, depending on the region. The Free 150 EFI is the cheapest model in the 150-cylinder segment on the national market and the first launch in the brand's portfolio in 2024.

Like all Shineray models, the Free 150 EFI has electronic injection and is highly economical, a huge plus for those looking for an agile and resistant vehicle to face the main urban centers. The new product should reach its own stores and dealerships on the 15th of this month.
