With this achievement, the company remains the only one in the segment in Brazil that has certification across its entire fleet
Foresea has just completed the second Maintenance Audit of the international operational quality management certification SPEC Q2 API. As a result, the company remains the only company in the offshore drilling segment to have this certification from the American Petroleum Institute (API) for its entire fleet in Brazil. A SPEC Q2 API is aimed at organizations providing services to the oil and natural gas industries, and covers a series of principles, such as: change management, preventive actions, calibration, auditing, risk management and data analysis reporting.
“This result demonstrates the compliance and continuous improvement of our management systems and proves the engagement and commitment of all the company's teams to operational excellence”, celebrates Rogério Ibrahim, CEO of Foresea.
The audit was carried out in person in Macaé and at the ODN II and NORBE VIII units, from October 10th to 26th, by two API auditors. At the end of the analysis, no “non-compliance” was identified, a metric used in the audit. The performance demonstrated the evolution of the Management System compared to previous audits, carried out in 2021 and 2022, when 12 and 2 “non-conformities” were listed, respectively.

Among Foresea's main strengths highlighted by the audit are the automated barrier management system (Bowtie); the teams' commitment to the Quality Management System (QMS); the adequate work environment at the Base/Yard for receiving SRPs from maritime units, storage and preparation for shipment to the units; between others.
